2. Living Social

Since I’ve moved to a new city, Living Social helps me try new things on a budget. I just ordered this unlimited monthly yoga pass to Amrita Yoga & Wellness Studio in Philadelphia.

3. Mint.com

To be quite honest, I’m not the best at managing my own money. I have a small amount of credit card debt and would loveee to pay it off by the end of the year. Since I usually respond best when I see things in print, Mint.com is helping me get control of my finances.

This (free!) and easy to use website lets you set up budgets for anything you could think of. It links to your bank account, credit card, investment portfolios, whatever! Mint automatically puts you transactions into categories. The most important thing I’ve learned is to set a budget and stick to it.

4. The Undressed Skeleton

Lately I’ve been trying to clean up my eating habits. When I cook at home, I tend to make nutritious meals, but I run into problems by eating out a few times per week. Taryn McNitt is such an inspiration. Her amazing blog, The Undressed Skeleton, has tons of tips for clean eating!

Taryn also has great baking ideas. If you’re going to eat baked goods, make sure you make them at home. They’re so much healthier than store bought products! Here are a few of my favorite recipes:

5. The Sexy Leg Workout

My thighs are the one part of my body that I’m not thrilled with. I’m trying to get my leg strength up with a mix of cardio, yoga, and this leg workout:

6. Fall Recipes

One of the reasons why I love fall so much is because of the food! Fall produce is the best! Here are some of my favorite fall recipes:

1. Jack Rogers Hamptons Classic Navajo Flat

I just ordered these perfect sandals from Zappos, one of my favorite online stores. I can’t wait to wear these with a cute sundress or a pair of coral shorts. I’m preppy, so sue me.

2. J Crew Pave Link Bracelet

This J Crew Gold and Crystal Link Bracelet is way high up on my wishlist. Unfortunately,  I am starting a spending moratorium to try and help my credit card balance. But really, how beautiful is it. I’d love to wear this with my Michael Kors watch and a blazer and bright silk top. If only!

3. The Vera Bradley Sale

ImageDo you need to stock up on some new duffel bags or a weekender tote? Now is the time to do it! Vera Bradley has items marked down 50% on their website. Shipping is free for orders over $100, and they even throw in a free beach towel! I might be guilty in over-ordering…

4. Vegan Banana Coconut Granola Bars

I actually have all the ingredients for these in my pantry, and they sound delicious. The recipe is very simple too! It would be a great idea to make a large batch, freeze them, and take them out when needed. This even sounds like a great post-workout treat!

5. Dogeared Karma Necklace

This is one of my favorite necklaces that I’ve ever owned. It matches everything, and can update any look. I don’t hate the message either 🙂

6. Suits

Everyone’s favorite show returns to USA on Tuesday, July 16th. If you’re not already a fan, now’s your chance to Netflix the past two seasons. Believe me, you won’t be disappointed.

7. Brazilian Waxes

Don’t call me crazy, but how great are the results of Brazilian waxes?! Yes, we might cry a little during the process, but absolutely nothing compares to weeks of not shaving. Not only do you not have worry about unsightly razor burn at the beach, but hair actually grow in thinner and more fine. I’m completely okay with the trade-off!

That being said, not all salons are created equal. Before you go, make sure you’ve checked up on their Yelp review. If there are any comments about the place being unsanitary… find somewhere else!

In order to keep ingrown hair-free, I rely on two products: Bliss Ingrown Eliminating Pads and Tend Skin. They’re true lifesavers, and I’ve never gotten an ingrown hair when I’ve used these.

8. Robin Thicke

Say what you want about the undertones of “Blurred Lines,” but it’s quickly becoming my favorite summer jam. My roommate and I may have committed to watching in on repeat 8 times just to see Robin Thicke in action. I’m not even sorry about it.

9. Avocados

This fruit superfood should be in everything you eat this summer. Not only is it power packed with fiber, potassium, vitamin E, B-vitamins, and folic acid, but it also tastes amazing! Here’s my favorite recipe at the moment, Chicken and Avocado Enchiladas:

I substitute fat free sour cream and fat free cheese to make it a little healthier.
