1. Philosophy Purity Made Simple
I think most women are on a quest for perfect facial cleanser, that easily removes makeup while leaving your skin feeling clean without over drying. Ladies, this is the real deal. The Philosophy Purity Made Simple Cleanser is a pH-balanced formula that rapidly dissolves dirt and makeup while deep cleaning pores. The bestselling cleanser contains infusions of sage, chamomile, and carrot.
-Sodium Lauroamphoacetate: Acts as a mild surfactant that gently cleanses the skin without irritation or residue.
-Meadowfoam Seed Oil: Lightly hydrates the skin leaving the skin comfortable, not pulled or tight.
-Sodium Trideceth Sulfate: Pulls dirt, debris, and makeup from the skin and dissolves them.
-Twelve-Essential Oil Blend (Including Rosewood, Sandalwood, Sage): Helps soften, soothe, and rejuvenate the skin.
I use this twice daily with my Clarisonic Mia.
2. Living Social
Since I’ve moved to a new city, Living Social helps me try new things on a budget. I just ordered this unlimited monthly yoga pass to Amrita Yoga & Wellness Studio in Philadelphia.
One day, maybe I’ll be good enough to do this! If only I could drag my boyfriend to class..
3. Mint.com
To be quite honest, I’m not the best at managing my own money. I have a small amount of credit card debt and would loveee to pay it off by the end of the year. Since I usually respond best when I see things in print, Mint.com is helping me get control of my finances.
This (free!) and easy to use website lets you set up budgets for anything you could think of. It links to your bank account, credit card, investment portfolios, whatever! Mint automatically puts you transactions into categories. The most important thing I’ve learned is to set a budget and stick to it.
4. The Undressed Skeleton
Lately I’ve been trying to clean up my eating habits. When I cook at home, I tend to make nutritious meals, but I run into problems by eating out a few times per week. Taryn McNitt is such an inspiration. Her amazing blog, The Undressed Skeleton, has tons of tips for clean eating!
Taryn also has great baking ideas. If you’re going to eat baked goods, make sure you make them at home. They’re so much healthier than store bought products! Here are a few of my favorite recipes:
Dark Chocolate Whiskey Cupcakes
Roasted Avocado Potato Salad and Sesame String Beans
5. The Sexy Leg Workout
My thighs are the one part of my body that I’m not thrilled with. I’m trying to get my leg strength up with a mix of cardio, yoga, and this leg workout:
Believe me, your legs will be so sore after the first time you do this! Tribe Sports also has other great workouts.
6. Fall Recipes
One of the reasons why I love fall so much is because of the food! Fall produce is the best! Here are some of my favorite fall recipes:
Pasta with Pumpkin and Sausage
I know this seems like a strange combination, but trust me it’s amazing! This definitely makes enough for 6-8, especially if you serve it with the salad below.
Spinach Salad with Apple and Red Onion
I also like adding in some walnuts and dried cranberries!
Sooooo good.
